A Visit to the Village of Panagia
Just a short drive from Calma Living lies the mountain village of Panagia, the old capital of the island. Walking through its narrow, winding streets feels like stepping back 100 years. The village is famous for its traditional stone houses, its running spring waters, and the iconic Church of the Virgin Mary.
We recommend visiting Panagia in the late afternoon. Watch the locals gather at the central square, visit the traditional olive oil press museum, and don't forget to try the local "souvla" (roast meat) at one of the village taverns. It is a beautiful contrast to the beach life—a place where the heartbeat of Thassian tradition is still strong and steady.

Located in Potos in the Thassos region, Calma Living has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace and free WiFi. It is 800 metres from Potos Beach and 1.5 km from Alexandra Beach.
